Trail Hunt is a new scent work sport where we teach our dogs to follow an odour trail in the environment to locate the "Trail Pod" at the end of the trail. 

We use Aniseed as the odour and laid an air bourn scent for the dogs to follow.

• A great mental & physical work out for your dog. Just 10 minutes of scent work is equivalent to 1 hours walk, so this is just what you need if you have a very enthusiastic or excitable dog.  

• Accessible to all dogs and handlers

• Can be practiced at home by yourself or with friends

• You don't need much equipment

• You and your dog work as a team and build a better bond

• Be warned it is very addictive!

• You start off with the Foundations course to get you into the new sport, then you can progress to the foundations plus which builds on the dogs searching ability and indication.

• You can then progress to the components levels which will give the dog a variety in the trails and the difficulty will increase.

• Further progression is the level tests & trials

• My foundation course will include being a registered member this will give you access to the supportive online group & you will receive a log book so we can record all your achievements
